Plain-English explanation of how PetBlip handles your content and information.
Your photos, videos, and personal information are stored on PetBlip's own servers. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't send it to any third-party tech companies.
Everything you upload or post on PetBlip — photos, videos, comments, profile information — is stored on servers that PetBlip owns and operates directly. There is no Amazon AWS, no Google Cloud, no Microsoft Azure behind the scenes. Our infrastructure is self-hosted and managed by our own team.
None of the following companies have any access to your PetBlip content or account information:
If you paste a link to a YouTube or other external video in a post, PetBlip will embed that player. In that case, the external site (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) may set their own cookies when the video loads — that's between you and them, and is standard behavior for embedded players across the internet. PetBlip does not control what those platforms do once their player loads.
To avoid any third-party video involvement entirely, use videola.us — our own community video platform — for uploading and sharing videos. No external parties involved at all.
videola.us is PetBlip's sister video site, running on the same self-hosted infrastructure. Upload your videos there and share the link on PetBlip for a completely private, corporate-free video experience.
You can delete any post or media you've uploaded at any time. If you want your entire account and all associated data removed, contact a PetBlip admin through the Community section and we'll take care of it promptly.
